  • business policy個simulation game真係比個mainland chur到暈
    個game係咁: 每group都係一間電子零件生產商, 每一round我地要決定投放幾多錢落research and development度, 用黎提性產品既性能; 決定放幾多錢去promotion budget, sales budget; 決定買幾多production plant同埋produce幾多product; 決定issue 幾多stocks and bonds咁

    嚴格黎講, 呢個係商業大亨/AOE式既strategic game
    讀過數學/econ既朋友都明白, 呢d只不過係multiple variable functions optimization under constraints, 只不過我地唔知佢既functions係乜
    打開機既朋友都明白, AOE玩城快/封快都有既定方式, 頭果6個人採食物, 一路到第22個人都係伐木, 之後耕田, 再決定玩28+2定係30+0

    呢個simulation game無攻略, 但有一份說明書, 同每一round都有report睇下對手做成點
    理論上, 分析一下report既數字, 係估到對手用緊咩strategy...
    但係呢個分析既過程都幾麻煩, 唔係一般人會做既野...
    成日話hku學生係世界仔: 我用20%既時間拎到80%既分就得啦, 拎埋剩得果20%既分要用80%既時間wor, 完全唔化算

    mainland就係會用埋果80%既人...
    佢負責R&D, 我負責production, 最有決定性既兩個部門
    尋日已經傾左兩個鐘, 今日又講左5個鐘...

    只係為左呢個course既20%, 既其中一round, 我用左7個鐘......

    鞋, 黎到final semester, 既final month
    大學既生涯就黎正式完結, 有一個搏盡既結尾, 好似會完滿一D

    我已經撻左成個10月啦...

    其實花咁多時間鑽研呢個game既loophole真係無乜意思

    今日比我地發現到, COM刻降低Low End product既capacity, 花上3 round時間去revise Low End product
    原來係想直接Push個Low End去High End, round 5既時候呢個扮Low End 既High End product 橫空出世既時候一眾human player只可以等死
    直觀咁諗, 就算用3 round時間Low End都只可能去到Traditional segment, 但係試過輸入數字就發覺
    R&D既設計係好ridiculous, 現實中既R&D係...個product好廢既時候, 要整好少少唔難; 如果個product本身已經好好, 就算你想佢快0.001秒都好難
    但呢個game既R&D係...開頭既R&D好難, 越high end既R&D越唔駛錢
    例如performance 係3, size係17, 要upgrade到performance=10, size=10...需要大概3 round時間
    但係...就算further upgrade到performance=13, size = 7, 都只係3 round既時間!!
    即係話, 只要係付出3 round 時間同3000既 R&D cost, 已經可以upgrade到performance = 100, size = 0都得

    電腦就係睇中Low End本身唔駛做好多野都可以維持margin, 去到round 5呢個product就可以突然跳到另一個segment大殺三方...

    如果真係按個game本來既設計, 電腦呢個strategy真係無敵, 我地而家先發現已經太遲
    但係...我諗個prof set game果陣無同電腦講, 呢個game我地只係玩6 rounds, 而唔係8 rounds...
    電腦幾無敵都好, 都要等到第5 round既一半先有new product 橫空出世, 優勢維持1.5 round個game就完左
    未必cover到佢round 4損失左既Low End profit...

    不得不佩服mainland同學即刻spot到一個fact...
    電腦quit左Low End market, 意味住本來已經唔夠production capacity既Low End segment會更加少supply
    計過條數, 去到第6 round, 就算剩低5個players都用盡2nd shift去product Low End product, 都滿足唔到demand
    起呢個seller market入面, 就算我地個product係inferior to others, 就算我地個price高過人地, 都實賣得出
    Low End segment's margin is decreasing呢個情況將會逆轉
    起demand同margin都係咁大既情況下, Low End幾乎由頭到尾都係cash cow...
